How to Wear Shorts for Men

Summer is just on the horizon and for many guys that means it’s shorts weather. Sun’s out, knees out, if you will. For the stylish gentleman, loose and baggy shorts are out and just say not to manpris. The most flattering garments fit the body and the same is true of shorts.

In addition to being fitted, men’s shorts should hit above the knee. A 10.5″ inseam will land just above the knee but you can also go as short as 5″. In keeping with the summer heat, shorts do not require a belt. If you opt for one, look for a lightweight fabric belt.


Shorts can be paired with long sleeves for cooler evenings or to protect from the suns rays in the day. A lightweight cotton or linen shirt will be as cool as a tank top with infinitely more style. The shorts are linen too for allover comfort. Look for


To add some fashion into your summer ensemble, look for shorts with details, like this pair an adjustable hem that rolls up.


Of course, you can always roll up your own shorts to just the right length. Denim can be rolled or cuffed.
